Today i’m going to talk about my campus which is Universiti Teknologi Mara Pahang cawangan kampus Jengka and also known as UiTM .There are two campus of UiTM in Pahang which one is located at Raub and the other one is at Jengka. Now let's check it out!!

Dewan Indera Segera

Dewan Indera Segara is the main hall of UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka. Its located near to the entrance. This hall functional when there any event held. My orientation weeks known as Minggu Destini Siswa (MDS) held here before.

Kompleks Tok Gajah (KTG)

This Ladies' College called Kolej Kompleks Tok Gajah (KTG). Fun fact about KTG is KTG the first building that has an elevator and the tallest building in the state of Maran, Pahang. There is 4 Block which is Block A, B, C and D. At KTG, there is a futsal court for them doing physical exercise if they have free time. Besides that, there is a big food court for the students having their daily meals. Furthermore, the accommodations are good as we have given a house with 4 rooms (2 persons each room), 2 toilets and a bathroom with a sink, a pantry, and a hall.

UiTM Jengka's Library (Al-Bukhari's Library)

For your information, we have two library in campus Jengka which is known as Perpustakaan Al-Bukhari 1 and Al-Bukhari 2 . PAB 1 is the new library meanwhile PAB 2 is the old one that has old books , journals , thesis and online database but mostly students of UiTM Jengka will go to PAB 1 to study , to borrow books or to do any group’s discussion.

LOAN AND BOOK RETURN

• Pre-Diploma :Max number of books that can be borrow is 3 and the duration is 14 days .
• Diploma :Max number of books that can be borrow is 20 and the duration is also 14 days .
• Degree :Just the same like the Diploma students, max number of books is 20 and the duration also 14 days .

LOAN STEPS AND BOOK RETURN

Use the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) —> Book shelves A-P (Downward), Q-Z (Left to Right) —> Matrix card —> Counter (KIOSK self-check machine)

FINE

- RM0.20 per day / book if its not returned by the time given

LOST BOOKS

• The books that you borrowed are lost (please make sure the books / materials are not in the wrong place)

• Make sure to do a report for the book / material loss at the counter (if the book is missing, please report it immediately in the main computer/main counter , in order to avoid increasing the penalty)
•  Students are given 14 days to find the book that you lost

INTER LIBRARY LOAN ( borrowing books from other library )

- You can make a request to borrow the book that you needed from other libraries if Al-Bukhari’s library doesn’t have it

IT’S ROOM

• Prohibited to store personal data on IT room computer
• Prohibited to access to sexual web or chatting
• You can use the PC for one hour at a time
• You have to register before using IT room

         - IT room 1 – 60 PC
         - IT room 2 – 20 PC
         - PC usage only 1 hour

LIBRARY’S ZONE

• SILENT ZONE – any discussion is not allowed , the situation must always in a piece of quite
• QUITE ZONE – group discussion is allowed but without too many noises, slower intonation and controllable
• RELAX ZONE – any talks or discussion is allowed to be done in comfortable manner

Masjid Uwais Al-Qarni

Lastly, this is UiTM Mosque named Masjid Uwais Al-Qarni. The mosque is newly renovated this year (2019).
